BRENT FAMILY FARM
John Logan and Lori Brent and their three children live on a 160-acre farm in Henry County, a diversified operation consisting of cattle, hay, cigar wrapper tobacco, and a family garden. Selling beef direct to consumer for over 20 years, the Brents are proud to take a calf from birth to finish, and on to the local butcher just two miles from the farm.

BROWN FARMS
Reggie and Paul Brown, son and father, along with their wives, farm over 240 acres in Turners Station. The Browns raise about 80 head a year on their farm.

The Coombs are generational farmers who, until 2018, ran a very successful dairy business. With the upheaval caused by the dairy industry, the Coombs have shifted to raising 30-35 mama cows supplying meat to the program.

Kylen Douglas purchased his family farm in 2012 raising 50 head of cattle on an annual basis. Adding to his other land, the Douglas Farms covers 300 acres of rolling farmland perfect for raising tender and nutritious meat for OHPM.

FISCHER FARMS
Jason Fischer runs about 70 mother cows on almost 300 acres of prime Henry County land. Working with his son Joseph, Fischer Farms is raising excellent animals for Our Home Place Meat.

MCMANIS FARM
Kevin McManis of Turners Station, KY is one of our few farmers providing animals for Rose Veal harvesting throughout the year. With his 30 heifers, Kevin raises calves to a superior quality meat.

MOBLEY FARM
James Mobley runs about 50 heifers and three bulls on his farm of over 80 acres. Spring calvers, Mobley’s animals are harvested near the end of the calendar year providing needed meat to the markets.

VALLEY SPIRIT FARM
The Fiechter and Monroe families’ shared vision of a two family, working farm includes a grass finished beef herd of 22 mama cows, and a two-acre vegetable garden. Valley Spirit also manages a pastured/woodland pork herd and grows culinary mushrooms.

WOODS FARMS
Woods farms is situated outside of New Castle in Henry County with 80 heifers. Woods supplies animals throughout the year, assisting Our Home Place Meat in providing to many markets.
