Grilled Rose Veal Tenderloin Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 2-3 lbs rose veal tenderloin
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Marinade and Preparation:
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Trim any excess fat from the veal tenderloin. Pat the meat dry with paper towels.
- Coat the tenderloin completely with the herb marinade. Let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before grilling.
Grilling Instructions:
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 400-450°F).
- Clean and oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
- Grill the veal tenderloin:
- Sear for 3-4 minutes on each side to create a nice golden-brown crust
- Reduce heat to medium or move to a cooler part of the grill
- Continue cooking until internal temperature reaches 135°F for medium-rare (about 10-12 minutes total)
- Remove from grill and let rest for 5-7 minutes to allow juices to redistribute.
- Slice against the grain and serve family style.
