A lean, tender cut combining beef’s richness with veal’s delicate texture. Raised on Kentucky pastures without antibiotics or hormones, each Rose Beef veal strip steak is hand-cut into 5–8 oz. portions. It sears easily over high heat, ideal for grilling or pan-frying.
With a clean, savory taste, this steak highlights the quality of pasture-raised veal from Kentucky family farms. Serve it simply on its own, or make it the centerpiece of your next meal.
Veal Strip Steak Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 lb grass-fed Veal Strip Steaks- 4 tbsp olive oil (or butter)
- 2 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp dried rosemary
- 1/4 tsp thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of each strip steak.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet or pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the seasoned strip steaks one at a time, cooking for about 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and well-seasoned.
- Reduce heat to low, uncovered, and place the steaks in the oven at 375°F (190°C).
- Cook until internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C). Remove from oven when done.
- Cut each strip steak into thin slices and serve immediately with your choice of sides.
Serving Suggestions:
Served with sautéed spinach, roasted vegetables, or mashed potatoes.
