The Berry Beef Sirloin is a versatile cut that’s leaner than ribeye or strip but still full of flavor. Raised on Kentucky pastures by family farms, our cattle are never confined to feedlots or given hormones or antibiotics. Each sirloin is cut by a local butcher for consistent quality and is well-suited for grilling, stir-fry, or slicing thin for sandwiches and salads.

Our Mission

Our Home Place Meat was established by The Berry Center in 2017 to develop a co-op for small to mid-size livestock farmers to sell local Kentucky grass fed meat to regional markets.

Beginning in our home place – Henry County, KY – we are building a healthy food and farm model that can be replicated in communities throughout the country.

The Berry Beef Sirloin is known for its balance of leanness and flavor. Cut from the hip section, it’s naturally firmer than ribeye or strip but still delivers plenty of beef character. It’s a versatile cut that works well on the grill, in a skillet, or sliced thin for stir-fry, fajitas, and sandwiches. Its adaptability makes it a reliable choice for both everyday meals and casual gatherings.

The value of this cut begins in the pasture. Our cattle are raised in Henry County, Kentucky, where they spend their lives on grass with access to corn. They are never sent to feedlots, never given hormones or antibiotics, and are cared for by family farmers who work the land with stewardship in mind. This approach produces beef that is wholesome, consistent, and rooted in farming traditions that strengthen local communities.
