Give the Gift of Our Home Place Meat

Give the Gift of Our Home Place Meat

Congratulations!  We've officially made it into the 2025 holiday season and if you're anything like me, you're frantically trying to find the perfect gift to say "I love you!" or "I'm thankful you're in my life!"  Over the years, my list of people receiving gifts from the Douglas family has decreased, but the thoughtfulness and practicality has increased.

We live in a world of hoarding "stuff" and my house only has so much room for any more of it.  We have three kids (Ben, age 13; Abby, age 12; Claire, age 12), so when everyone starts asking what the kids want for Christmas, I've started asking for season passes and experiences when I can.   In response to limited space and patience, the past few years I've also tried to give practical gifts based on needs and consumability.  My favorite gift to give?  Our Home Place Meat.

My love language is gift giving so it's easy for me to find the perfect gift, but out of respect for space, why wouldn't I give the people I love high quality, delicious meat? If you're looking for a practical gift for the beef eaters in your life, why not quality meat raised on family farms?  There's no better place to start than with Our Home Place Meat (or the local farm beef supplier of your choosing!).

Our Rose Beef (Rose Veal) is milk-fed and grass-fed beef raised on beautiful perennial pastures in Henry County and is lean, tender, and delicious.  If you prefer meat raised on pastures with free-choice grain and grass, Berry Beef is perfect on your table.  There doesn't have to be a celebration to buy high quality, local beef. You don't have to go out to an expensive restaurant to eat an amazing steak or hamburger.  You can do that at home.  You can gift that experience to someone at home.

Supporting your local farmers is a great way to help us keep more land in pastures and more farmers farming.  But nothing says I love you quite like food.  Tell the important people in your life that you love them, by gifting them Our Home Place Meat.

Eat Well,
Beth Douglas
